Wahab is the Chairman and CEO of Noor Holding, a family office. He was previously Chairman and Managing Director of Al-Deera Holding (a company listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange), CEO of Univest Group (which he founded), Chairman and CEO of FASTtelco (an ISP) and Vice President at Global Investment House. Wahab started his career at the National Bank of Kuwait and United Gulf Management in Boston.
Wahab is a member of the boards of Miami International Holdings and JetSmarter. He also served on the boards of International Financial Advisors (IFA), IFA Hotels & Resorts, The Chart Group, Ithmar Capital, National Gas Company, Omniyaty, Abwab Capital, Bag Borrow or Steal, Yotel, BPL Global and the IFA Khaleeji Fund.
Wahab graduated from the University of San Diego in 1994 with a BA in Business Administration.
Samy owns and manages two companies between the GCC and Africa distributing automotive components and chemical products. He is also the agent for Victaulic in several sub-Saharan countries. Victaulic, an American company, is the world leader in pipeline joining solutions.
Prior to these activities, Samy spent 7 years as an investment banker at UBS. He was a Director in the Institutional Solutions Group, responsible for coverage of the Middle East and Africa. In this role, he was involved in a variety of M&A transactions, private placements and IPOs.
Before joining UBS, Samy worked in private equity at Bowmark Capital and financial services strategy at PwC.
Samy graduated from Boston University in 2008 with a BSc in Management Information Systems.
David is the CEO of Biscuit Labs. He co-founded Microsoft’s early-stage investment fund which became Microsoft Ventures.
David began his career as a systems engineer at Siemens Industry optimizing power generation and transmission systems. He then spent time at Microsoft Research where he worked on a range of machine learning, HCI and natural language processing problems in several domains (including news prediction, collaborative learning and autonomous navigation).
David holds 12 granted and pending patents, a BSc in Computer Science from the University of London and pursued graduate studies at the University of Cambridge.
Before joining Capitoria, Thibault worked for the Abu Dhabi Investment Council. Thibault started his career in the strategy unit of the CEO Office of Allianz. He then spent several years in the private equity and venture capital practice of Kirkland & Ellis.
Thibault holds a JD from Columbia Law School. He graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2008 with a MPhil in Management and was a scholar of the Studienstiftung.
